05 WRX donor $2,300 by friday in Central/North Cali (Martinez)

Okay here's the deal. I just won a dealer only salvage auction for a 2005 WRX in Martinez, 94553. The problem is that I'm in NY. This normally wouldn't be an issue but I had something come up since I put my bid in last week and could not retract it..

Long story short.. I won the car, but would rather not have to shell out the $ for it plus another $1000 to get it shipped to NY right now. This is someone's oportunity to pick up a donor at my wholesale price. I pay thousands of dollars every year on dealer licensing fees, insurance, etc etc.. This is your chance to buy the car at my price without the crazy overhead.

The car will have to be payed for by friday and will have to be picked up by this coming tuesday. Any money will be payed directly to the auction house when the car is picked up. Nothing is payed to me.. I am NOT making anything off of this deal.

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! I don't feel like dealing with anyone that might, should, or will have the money and the means to get this car. If you have cash in hand and are seriously considering this purchase, E-mail me at Georonimo@aol.com with your number or a request for my number. I'll also be on and off on AIM at "Georonimo" for the next few hours. I'll be able to give you the details, pictures, etc.

The car is a blue 2005 with a black cloth interior. Took a hit to the nose and has blown bags. The car is for Parts Use ONLY.
This car cannot legally be repaired for use on the street. I'm sure it could be used as an offroad use only race car, but not on the street.

And like I said.. If you're not serious, please don't waste my time. This price isn't negotiable. If no one buys it, I'll just have it shipped to NY.

Thanks,
Jorge

even if you were serious, this isn't an option. The car will have to be payed for at a Copart facility.

As mentioned before, serious inquiries only. If you want pics, e-mail me or PM me your E-mail addy.

The passanger side headlight is still mostly intact and the drivers side of the front end isn't pushed past the batery. So damaged radiator/condenser, definitely. Damaged engine, I doubt it.

Sounds like the timing cover might have gotten whacked and if the belt slipped...

Thanks for the info!

I didn't know that. I've never been in a situation where I didn't want to keep my commitment to buy a car through them. Never even bothered looking to be honest.

But worst case, if nobody can come up with the money, I'll probably just have the car shipped and deal with it when it gets here. I'd much rather hook some one up with a deal or do a budget balancing act for a week before I give some big business more money for nothing. (I didn't vote for bush)
