Are totally messing up my i-club experience. Now my screen is all squished and hard to read. Silly banners... YOU DON'T OWN THE WORLD!!!

yeah... good thing is only when you view the forums list. but in the actual thread it's not there. another thing i notice is the upper banner is out of the screen. at least in my resolutions...

 

Yeah the forum is designed way past a 1024 width. I'd reconsider placing the ad below the header/banner. I didn't mind it before.

Or a smaller banner and ad.

 

Plus there's still some banner for the GT Live event that happened a few months ago...

 

I remember there was an Evo related event ad on the site...

Yeah. I did some stuff using Firefox and it looks only slightly different than the old I-club.

I dunno... I think the ads aren't that great. If it were something like the previous version, it is okay, but now with BoostLabs ad serving, just some useless stuff for us. That's what I think anyways.

this is how it looks on my desktop... the alignment is pretty bad... I don't mind the ads much since I pretty much learned to ignore them... but this is an eye sore...

 

Nothing is in final form. We are maing changes and moving stuff around untill it works. This is not an exact science and takes trial and error. Unfortunately, it has to be done right on here as we are not big enough to have a test server as well. The banner at top will eventually be in the right place. We are waiting on getting the original raw graphic for up top so we can fine tune this, The side banners will only be in the forum listing and should not have a serious affect on anything, nor will they be in the threads. We mentioned before that side banners will be added in order to help the site grow. I order to upgrade the site and put in the time and effort, it has to pay for iteself. The alternative is those adds and linked words within the threads which everyone hates. We did remove the linked text. That was one for the first things we did. This is the alternative.

The GT Live add is old because they have not switched yet to the VIR banners, but since i-Club is a partner with GT Live and they will be hosting the i-Club/Cobb tuning fan fest at the VIR event, we will run this untill they update shortly. The evo add was just for size testing and was only up very shortly.

Keep in mind that everything we do is ultimately to mprove the site and features for the members. If something is universally disliked (versus the alternative), we will change it. We ask that you bare with us a little while things are being changed around. It should all be complete and optimzed for peak performance within a short time.

In the mean time, check out our new features section were you will be find increased original i-Club content including reviews, stories, event coverage, tech articles, etc

 

Another point to make is that while you may see more ads, they will all be relevant to you owners. We only allow relavant advertising.
