Here is a pic of my bored 2.5 block O-ringed in my car just to compare..notice no deck closing but O-ringed instead. By the by, it's gonna be for sale soon...I am parting out the RST.

Stroker- I would love to personally show you and everyone the block. However it is at Crawford Performance. All we can do right now is post up their pictures and relay some information. They are the ones who have actually dismantled and inspected the block. But, do not be too worried…I can always ask if they would like visitors.
Hayscoob – That’s a nice looking block. Are all the parts still that clean
How much power did you end up getting out of that?

It would probably still shine up like that with a little of elbow grease. As for power? Right now, I am only running 12 psi max during the summer months. I'd estemate 240-250 at the wheels hp wise with more torque than hp. Say about 270-280 tq. When it's cold out it's more powerful. Every dyno is different. So you have to make an average I guess. I ran up to 18 psi with no problems but not much more power than 14 psi. Hell, I could have went up past 20 psi if the turbo could do it. I cant' get that much air to run through the engine with the current valve train and cam profiles any way. Longer duration and higher profiles would help out alot. Along with a larger turbo too.

Stroker - Sorry nobody really knows for sure. Perhaps we can ask our motor builder, Crawford Performance, and get another opinion.
All I can say is that the dealers/people we have spoken with say that only STI heads will work with the STI block.
