I managed to get sunburnt somehow this weekend. I have no idea how.

 

Plenty of soft snow up there. The untouched pow got tracked out pretty quick. But we hiked up Crow's Nest Peak for fresh turns. Was the run of the day for us. Was too bad Jeff's GoPro battery petered out by that time.

For Sugar Bowl, it was fairly crowded. I've seen worse. But nothing like Mammoth!



Hell to the Nah!!! I've never been there but another i-clubber got word that 150+ peeps were waiting for Chair 23 to open. #PowderHungry

And with how bleak the conds were prior to late last week's wave of HUGE storms, the resorts should be in great shape for the rest of the season. And there are still a few chances of decent storms in the long-range forecast.

Oh, and the weather outlook for the next 2 weeks is calling for a few touch-ups on the slopes. 'Tis calling for 4-6" this Thur with most of it dropping after the lifts close for the day. Fri will be mostly sunny. Then Sat nite into Sun morning should bring another 6" or so. Possibly some overnite dustings over Sun, Mon & Tue, but breezy during the day. Wed nite brings steady light snowfall thru Thur nite along with increasing winds... just over a foot total in that 36-hr stretch. Breezy Fri with another 4-6" of snow Fri nite. Sat and Sun calls for mostly sunny skies with decreasing winds. And more precip is expected in the latter half of the next week too!

So yeah, I think Miracle March is good to go!

And if this forecast holds, I'll likely ride Sierra on Thur the 15th. And if I roll solo again, y'all can expect me to swing by the meet.
