I'm fine with the Uribe signing. I wouldn't have wanted the Giants to try and match that offer. The Giants are in need of a SS for next year, but I can't blame Uribe for taking the money (and the Giants for not matching to keep him).

Sounds like the Giants have signed Miguel Tejada to a 1yr /$6.5M deal as Uribe's replacement.

Not the worst thing in the world, but hardly the best.
