my neighbors who locked their dog in a cage for 10hours a day, that had a dog that would bark 10 hours a day....
well they have a cute notice on their door that says "Notice of Eviction". Signed by some sheriff...

*10'x10' dog run complete with horse water trough, dog house, pine chip area for the poops. they're out there unless it's really cold and/or rainy, or really hot.
*airline crates in teh garage to sleep at night unless it's really cold or really hot.
*soft side camping crates for camping or sleeping / being crated in the house during the day if it's really cold or really hot.
the camping crates are soon to be replaced with another set of plastic airline crates though (prolly smaller than the ones the garage, those things are built for great danes or something), and put solely on camping duty.
