So I'm on this conference call. We are having performance problems on some system.
Application guy: Yeah, this is a relatively new issue. We installed this monitoring software on the system that polls every 15 minutes and we've been having the issue.
Me: Interesting. So have you tried stopping the monitoring software?
Them: No. But I don't see why that could be causing a problem.
Me: But, you weren't having a problem, then you installed the software, and now you are?
