Axxis Deluxe Plus:

I'm thinking about replacing my front and rear brake pads and was wondering if anyone ever experienced the Axxis brake pads?

I've had good experience with the Axxis Ultimates and the Axxis Metal Masters. One is more motorsports oriented (IIRC) and might not be good for you.
Otherwise, I thought the pads were pretty decent.
vietpunk916 hey how many miles did you get on your stock pads. i got 36000 so far, but they are migfhty thin.
also there are the hawk hps pads that are comprable to the axxis ultimates

I've had experience with EBC Green and Red pads, Axxis/PBR Metal Master pads and stock pads for quite a few cars.
I really like the EBC Green pads on the front and Axxis Metal Masters on the rear with some blank rotors (setup of my 1986 Mr2).
On my 99 RS, I have the EBC Green pads on the front and EBC Red pads on the rear. I'm pretty happy with the results.
But, I would not recommend this setup for track driving at all. They simply don't have the heat range to stay effective for track temps.

using this bed-in process helps wonders too.

and this is a good walk-thru for bleeding your brakes.

I've been using the Porterfield pads for 2 years and I won't use anything else, they are great cold and awesome when heated to track temperatures. I've been doing track days and autox on them and they are superb. Very little dusting also.
Just upgraded the fronts to ebc yellow stuff pads and slotted ebc rotors... so far no complaints but am still in my break in period.... so far the stopping is nice they are heating up quick enough to be effective... just waiting to take some corners
