The only two guys that passed him all day were a full race Vette with a supercharger (talk about evil sounding ) and a modified M3 with a very experienced driver.

my feelings are that the porsche guys just don't drive their cars as
hard cuz they cost so much and they don't want to go off track and wreck
****! I'm sure most of the porsches would spank my little wagon if they
had good drivers who arn't worried about what can happen. also with RWD
isn't it a bit harder to drive???

reminds me of a NASA track day at Sears Point (when it was still called that). My friends and I rolled in w/our Civics, Integras, and other ricers and just about scared the pants off a bunch of Ferrari Club dudes. We were going fender to fender w/a bunch of F355's, 456GT's, and even an F40. A couple of them went ***** out, but most of them just cruised around the track and let us pass. I would've done the same thing if I was one of them!

I have that Vette on video and you can actually here it coming...then all of the sudden white smoke comes out of the *** of the car and he has to get passed back up. I'll try and get that up next week.

Everyone should do at least one track day. I find it so much more fun than canyon runs. You can push your car to it's (or your) limits without worry of motorcycles or those damn bicycles that are hiding in every turn. They're like canyon gnomes in spandex.
