where those pics are at is from the Granit Bay entrance. Your going to want to take Auburn Folsom Rd to Douglas Blvd and go right onto Douglas. Just keep going and it will take you right into the lake...you could google it too cuz i know those arnt the best directions

if your gunna mess around try to do it away from ppl and keep it short cuz the rangers DO NOT like it. and for whatever reason if you get stuck, tow trucks will not go out there FYI

nope, im in the clear so far
if there is a ranger there its $7 for day use.. if there isnt a ranger there it goes by the "honor system" and you pay and take a tag.. if your only going to be there for a lil bit and theres not ranger, i wouldnt pay... but thats just me
