A pick of my one of a kind scooby Forester STI

Hi all.

I'm new to this forum but I have a few years on my back at other forums such as Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR) and a few others

I sold my beloved Evolution V RS two months ago and now I'm with the "enemy" lol.

I found a cool and probably one of a kind Forester two weeks ago...I just had to buy it

It's a 99 mod Forester with 04 mod 2.5L WRX STI engine,the inlet manifold is turned arround 180"BIG FMIC,GEMS ECU,Turbonetics turbo,850cc injectors,STI 6 speed gearbox with short shift,Big Brembos,complete 04 STI drivetrain,Eibach Pro Street coilovers,WRX interior,Cusco subframe,3" exhaust from turbo back.

390 ATWHP 520Nm ATW of torque. On 99 octane unleaded RON pumpgas.(standard in Norway is 92,95,98 and 99 octane)
I'm currently running it on a mix 50/50 E85 bioethanol/99 Octane

I'll have it re-tuned/maped on 100% E85 bioethanol. (85% ethanol and 15% 98octane.)

450 ATWHP and close to 600Nm of torque.

Very fun to drive and I outran my old Evo V RS easilly

Hope I'll like it in here.

Here's a pic of the Forester and my old ride the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V RS.

Thank you all for a warm welcome.

I'm going to take the "PureRacing" grafics off to get it all clean.

The only thing now is to get it re-maped on bioethanol.Maybe I have to change some parts, like gas lines and injectors...The alcohol tends to dry out gaskets and fuel lines.

I'm also going to put in an AEM UEGO AF meter and an exhausttemp sensor.

When running on bioethanol you actually have a 30% increase in fuel economy, thus the injector size, but it is much cheaper to buy bioethanol than gasoline her in Norway so your wallet will not feel a difference...but your car runs better. + emission is far lower.

cheers

I loved the EVO...I had it for 2,5 years and loved every minute in it.Just that in Norway this car cost a whole lot of cash.I had to let her go to get some money to do what i wanted to do.

I sold her and visited the USA for the first time. Las Vegas..played poker for 9 days and came back with money to spare so I bought the Forester.

But I'll deffo get an Evo again.

The cool part of having this one is that it's a sleeper. No one knows it's fast as hell!..

cheers guys.

Thanks!.I live close to Drammen.Where did you live?
Solberg needs his new car ASAP! His brother is doing better in the private owned Bosian Team tho..But there's a new kid on the block now..An 18 year old Norwegian "boy" who came in 5th in the Swedish rally..Andreas Mikkelsen. And a 19 year old Norwegian Mads Østberg who finnished 8th.

A total of 4 Norwegians in the top 10.
