Sweet. Fun car.

My friend had the exact same car, color and everything. Totaled it a couple months ago after hydroplaning it going north on 880 (near Oakland/Alameda). Spun 180 degrees and the rear ended up smashing into the divider. He was a fairly well-trained and cautious driver so I was very surprised. Was a sad day, indeed.

On the bright side, he got an amazing estimate on it even though he had put some 90k miles on it. Ended up getting a Volvol S40 5T - not much that much fun to drive, especially compared to the M.

Drive safe!

hmm good question Maintenance on the car is actually not bad pretty easy to do things yourself. But of course still more expensive like changing the oil you need 6qts instead of 5 so you gotta always buy an extra quart. But hey oil filter is right on top so easy change. the timing belt is a chain so you never need to change that. the e36 m3 is one the most reliable bmw cars that can last a really long time. gas....yeah expensive I use premium and cost me like 63 bucks for full tank.

yeah I had a 95 e36 that I did the same thing with. didn't crash it but I did spin out. pretty scary. But hey I got traction control with my 98! hahaha yeah and resale on these cars are great!!!! def worth it to buy and have some fun with and when you sell it you won't lose a thing!
