Temp sender

What is involved in hooking up the outside temp sender?
ALSO what all does this cluster do, that ours dont?(other than the temp/shift light, sti logo, and km/hr things)

you summed it up tach is bigger, and dead center . The programmable buzzer, 8k redline, careful, US redline remains 7k looks better...

Im not too sure on whats involved in doing the outside temp guage, you might be able to find some info from NASIOC or doing a search here on I-club. Also Jim Hoyt...

Not too worried about that, the rev limiter is still gonna hit at 7k, so I dont care.

Mileage?....

When you install this baby into you car, what happens to the mileage? I know that it switches to kilometers, but if you switch back the US spec, will it be consistent with the mileage you travelled? I know this is a dumb question, but I don't want to get into odometer fraud.
