I applied for a job back in early February.
Today, at lunch, I was thinking "Hey, I haven't heard anything about that job. Oh well, guess I didn't get it."
Get home this evening & check my email, and notice an email from the company I applied to.
"Sweeeet. Some news is good news", I thought to myself as I opened the email:
"Thank you for submitting your application for the XXXXXXXXXX position. We have reviewed your application materials, and regret to inform you that you have not been chosen to continue in the selection process."

That sucks, man. At least they didn't send you a letter telling you that you were there second choice. I got one of those. "Thanks, you sucked less than everyone but the guy we hired."
