eek, i got an interview in 2hrs for this Developer position over here at Sutter. I'm startin to sweat bullets. It's gonna mean a 20k a year raise

 

i got home work...

8 years since i had HW.

I was on a ride for 4 days. We went through Kings Canyon and Lone Pine near Mt. Whitney. Then up to Tahoe and back down 49 to home.

Here's what happens when one of the idiots in the group says "hey we're in Nevada now. We can ride without our helmets." Everyone but myself and one other guy were a bunch of lemmings and then this happened about a block from the condo.

LEO: What? you don't wear a helmet?
Ray: My buddies just told me there wasn't a helmet law here.
LEO: Been one for 5 or 6 years.


Fortunately the officer was cool and we were close enough to the place we were staying at that he let me fetch Ray's helmet.
The rest of the guys scattered like roaches after turning a light on when they saw us get rolled.

 

They took off their helmets just because there wasn't a law???

Wow. That is dumb.

 

There was at least 20 Lambos at the Hyatt in Incline on Sunday. Most of them were from Canada. One from Miami. A couple from Georgia.

 

Yep. I don't need a law to care about my Noggin.
