When I worked for Lockheed Martin, there was an uber catholic that complained about a co-worker that had a National Geographic magazine on his desk that explored the topic of evolution. The priest sucker said that the mere presence of the magazine caused a hostile and uncomfortable work environment and even threw down in the name of he J-Man with the NG owner. I did not get to see the fight, but I heard that the crusader got nailed to a cross...

Hey, what's the difference between jesus and a picture of jesus?
It only takes one nail to hang the picture!

So jesus walks in to a hotel, slams a hammer and nails down on the counter and says "can you put me up for the night?"

I feel like hardcore religous people are just as bad as liberal bull**** artists. I have a best friend that is god fearing and is a teacher at a christian school, but he understands that faith is not for everybody and leaves it at that, and will never ever bug you about it, and he thinks intelligent design is bs. Whoever wants to believe will believe, those that are weak minded and stupid believe a little too much.

There are those who follow, and they don't really push their values on others, the get the ok from me. TV evangelists type of people however...I'd rather punch myself in the face than listen to that crap!

Thats where it started getting rediculous. You guys can make as much fun of my Father as much as you want. You will draw no bitterness out of me.

Seriously, someone brainwashed you in to believing that comic book crap? Turned water in to wine, came back from the dead, son of god born to an unwed mother fairy tale?

I am going to let you in on a little secret here, the church only wants your money and the ability to brainwash you to vote the way they see fit that will get them more political power. They don't give a rats *** about you or your well being or they would not ask you to sit in their brainwashing sessions and give up your hard earned money.

i agree 100% with you man.

I have friends that are christians, and a strong followers. hell, i have family that are super religious. I have nothing against them. but as soon as they start pushing it on my is when i get pissed.

Did wingzero push his religon on you, no, he didn't, he was sharing something that happens to bring him happiness and enlightenment.

Think of it the same if somebody were to post a thread about getting an engine swap done or even a new car, to them that's exciting, to others it's a waste of time and money. To each his own, right?

Both of my parents where raised Christian.. my dad went to Christian Brothers, and my mom went to an all girl school with nuns and everything haha, and was raised Catholic...

My dad went there, knew the bible backwards and foward and just laughed his *** off that anyone would believe that ****, he is now an Athiest... My mom is now agnostic after going through all of her school and seeing way to many flaws to believe it... Religion has caused 100x more harm then it has caused any good.. yes it is good for some people and without it they probably wouldn't be here today, but the thousands on thousands who have shed their blood fighting for some imaginary friend in the sky because they think if they kill this person, or bomb this city god will greet them in heavan is just the biggest load of **** I have ever seen. Then you go this dumb **** in office, who goes by the name of George Bush who is basically trying to preach his stupid **** religious beliefs as a way to govern our country. It's absord, and I wish the Christian right would all drink the kool-aid already... Jesus christ i think their date has come and gone!!
