however when you consider 450 for used ap1 plus 250 for 91 tune vs. 150 for my ecutek'd ecu plus 250 for 91 tune, it's a lot cheaper. Now, if you need multiple maps or wanna clear codes and ish...that's a different story. But for someone looking to pickup some extra horsepower and tune their car for cheap, it's definately a good route...

all the extra features(even though all arent available yet )! i had an AP1.0.. sold it, and bought 2.0...only spent an extra $200...lil fuxer is badass!

Yea I know...I definently like the features of the AP and can switch multiple maps which is what I would like to get so I'd have to see.

AP - Cost - $400-450
EcuTek - Cost - $150 + trade of my ECU
Either way Tuning is about $200 +/-.

yah +1 on the switching maps, code reading, all the datalogging capabilities, all that fun stuff... it was a no brainer for me

well... when my car was on ecutek the motor blew... when it was on the AP I ran 11's..... enough said haha it had noothing to do with the tunes!!

I think I may go with an AP but haven't made a final decision yet.
