It was 88 in our building on Monday. The stupid landlords turn the system off over the weekends so it takes all day Monday to cool off, in addition, every Monday one of the AC systems slows a fuse or something. Luckily today the temp is very comfortable.

R4ND0M_AX3, do you work in the HVAC field?

yes, HVAC controls. I tell the stuff what to do and when, usually from my desk.

Start your AC stuff early on monday mornings. More advanced systems know their recovery rate and calulate optimal start/stop times.

No kidding. I had a mechanical contractor at my house last night to quote the dual zone system I want to put in and his phone rang at least 15 times in 1/2 hour.

I've considered making the garage a seperate zone for when I'm working in there with the door closed.

hahahahahahaha...

my AC has been keeping the house a nice 75 when we're home and 78 when we're gone (poor cats). it's amazing what a 15 year old system can do when it's been cleaned.
