The police were/are out in force in my business park today and are pulling cars over and looking under the hood. They were even taking pictures today, so it looks like getting away with illegal mods is going to get even tougher.

On a side note, I watched a motorcycle officer track and ignore a late model 5 series BMW that did a nose dive to slow down when he saw the cop. The BMW had illegeal tint, and 2 burned out brake lights and the officer let him go and pulled over a Wyotech student in an older (60s) truck that was not loud, had working brake lights and was obeying the speed limit - the only thing besides the wheels that did not appear stock was the fact that it was lowered from original height, but was still higher off the ground than my STi...

Didn't you read? Dz said they didn't pull over a BMW, so what makes you think they will pull over a minivan??
