Will SOA cover my engine?

Talked to dealer today. They have the motor apart and found #1 rod bearing spun which scored the rod and crank journals. They are replacing them under warranty and never said anything about the exhaust.

sweet, so anyone who has dealed with both maita and auto west, who's a better dealership for warranty and who lets u have the most mods with out complaining,

The only thing I know is Maita is a Prodrive dealer, If all you went with was SPT, STi and Prodrive parts, you could still have a bad little suby.

Just picked up the car today. They replaced the complete crank, #1 rod, all rod bearings, thermostat, and engine gaskets under warranty and never even mentioned the exhaust. I also got the loaner free of charge just had to return it with full tank of gas. Car runs great feels stronger then when I first got it. So overall cost of repair $0.

+1 for SOA. if only they'd make a 100,000 mile factory plan...
