Who has been pulled over because of the Drag-Net program?

Who has actually been pulled over because of the drag-net (profiling "modified looking" cars)? I have to write an argument essay and I'm doing it on the profiling of modified looking cars. I need an interview as a source but those are kind of hard to come by on this subject....so I'm going to make this count as one.

1) what kind of car do you drive?

2) is it modified?
-if so, what are the mods?

3) did the cop pull you over for a technicality (ie: failed to use turn signal) or did he claim to pull you over because he "suspected your car was modified"?

4) how long did the whole process take?

5) was the cop full of crap? (asking what the parts on an STi are red, asking if it came with an intercooler)

6) what was a cops attitude? was he an ******* or was he cool about it?

TIA guys. If you know anyone who has been pulled over for this, can you have them answer the questions? TIA again.

yes, I know I posted it in the Bay Area, SoCal, and Sac/Reno forums...just trying to get this out to more people.

me and justin where talking to a rancho p.d. officer on saturday night for a long time and he was telling us that they literally are specifically looking for Honda's and Acura's mostly. That they where specially trained on Honda motors, and basically openly admitted that the city's inforcing dragnet(rancho p.d. really isn't) is trained mostly on imports, so that's who they tend to go after...

This guy was by far one of the coolest cops I have ever talk to. He is how every cop should be!

I've been pulled over many times in the greenhaven area, but the only ticket I received was for a missing rearview mirror

i myself have yet to be pulled over, but i have been monitored by a lot of cops while driving around, especially down in elk grove. it's always funny when i'm at an intersection and a cop pulls up next to me like it's nothing. then when the light turns green and they har my exhaust, they always give this look like "that sound is coming from THAT?" :P

i keep expecting to get pulled over because the exhaust on my legacy is way louder than the one i had on my civic, and i did get pulled over twice in that car (neither time was for the exhaust though, strangely). i think that what the other guys said about the cops targeting hondas mainly is true, cause i have seen a lot of hondas being pulled over the past few months.

you might try posting this on honda-tech or superhonda and see what people say there. beware of h-t though, cause there's a lot of *******s on that board.

You drive a Legacy wagon, dude
I had what was easily the loudest exhaust in the club, for nearly a year, and I never got pulled over for it. It just doesn't compute that it's coming from a station wagon

I know when I was in my Camaro, with No Cats and a Cut out. I had a cop driving right where the cut out is on my passenger side with his window down. He just looked at my car... gave a look... then rolled his window up... This was in Roseville

but then he said he had to go with procedure and i dind't have a front plate.
