we need a new digital camera... the one we have takes decent enough pictures but it eats batteries, we get about 12 shots out of a set before they need to be replaced or recharged.
we're looking for one that takes decent pictures and has a charger/data docking station. our price range is around $200 (up to $250 if it's really cool). basic functions are best since we're not really "camera people".

seriously though, in your price range I'd look for something used. I got my Canon S50, which I've been very happy with for $200 (I think that's what I paid) but it doesn't have a data docking station. Just a cable to get the images from camera to pc and a battery charger.
Oaf has the Kodak easy share, but you're not going to get that camera and the dock with printer for $250
. It's a cool setup though.

so we ended up with a cannon powershot sd400... it's a nice little camera and seems to take some awesome pics.
i wanted to get the kodak v550, looked similar but much easier to navigate and got similar reviews, but some of the menu buttons were right where my left thumb wanted to be when i was taking pictures.
