Do you have needle nose vice grips? Would they hold it enough to be able unscrew it?

When I removed the rear hatch interior trim panel I couldn't even see the plastic insert. Admittedly it was a quick look before I had to get back to work so it may just take some more digging/fishing around but I'm not optimistic.

I tried to pry on the screw to put pressure on the insert to keep it from spinning while I unscrewed it but that didn't work and I was causing more damage than anything.

My registration isn't due until December so I can leave it alone until then. I was just trying to get a new license plate frame on for vanity's sake. LOL
