I'm off work. Until I get out of class at 6:45, then I'm working again. Hopefully I'll only have to work for an hour or so because I'm going to try and be in the office at 5:30am tomorrow

. I was supposed to be off but it looks like I'll get my day off next Friday, which is just fine with me

I work in IT and this really important project I'm on is severely borked due to software vendors not playing together. Unfortunately this has been ongoing for a couple months due to other things in the mix that delayed getting stuff done.

Now, the Business Partner is pissed and wants this done yesterday. Recently though they've been getting a lot better about taking care of us when we have to work weird *** hours like this. So since I was supposed to be off work today, they gave me next Friday off, and because I told them my car was in "the shop" they offered to hook me up on a rental car (though I don't need it). So they're cool. I'm not going to get the rental because I plan to get my car done today.

If you stay on the boards for a while, you'll see me working all kinds of wacko hours :|
