I'd go with the better single card setup than SLI or Crossfire. then later you can still get a second kick *** card wich by then will be about a dollar.

Im thinking about the block too. But i wont need the struts till like march. Maybe if i save untill then i should have enough for both?
dude, if shipping charges for those SPTs are the same as for the KYBs (around $30-$40, which is pretty reasonable considering how much struts weigh), you're looking at around $530-$540 for the SPTs, vs. around $485 for the AGXs on eBay. that's what, a $45 to $55 difference? and that's IF shipping is that cheap! Subaruparts.com lists shipping for a single AGX strut at $16.76. X 4, that's $67.04, assuming you can't get a discount for multiple purchases. you're still better off going with the eBay deal. that extra money can go a long way towards something for either car.

first thing you need to find out is exactly how much the SPTs are going to cost you, shipping included. once you've found that out, then you need to start figuring out how much it's going to cost you to get that Celica motor, and get it freshened up. and if you're not going to install the motor yourself, you either need to figure out how much the install is going to cost you, or you need to figure something else out (don't tell me you're planning on asking your neighbor to do it for you and not give him anything in return). remember also that it's not just the motor you need to look at, your entire drivetrain should be looked at, as well as your suspension. remember you're talking about a really old car, it's not going to be in mint condition.

once you've got all of that figured out, you need to make a decision on which is more imporant to you, putting that money towards the impreza, or putting that money towards the celica (assuming you're not going to put that money towards something else that is). i understand your emotional connection to your celica, i had that same connection to my civic. but even i knew when to walk away, even i knew when the financial costs were just too high to be justifiable. if you can honestly tell yourself that your celica is worth that much of your money, then go for it. if you think that the impreza might be the better place to spend the money (right now anyway, you could always get that celica motor later), then go with that.

if you want my opinion, it's impreza all the way. making that suspension more fun will be much more rewarding for you than buying a motor for a car that you still won't have running anytime soon.

It would be 544 total. But that differences is allright if i get what i want a name the color pink what ever As for the celica it is worth it. I did and overhaul before i satrted driving it. So all that other stuff is done. Its just the motor and the Clutch/Flywheel that need replacing. And im good to go. I got quoted for the shortblock @ 300. and i have head already. All i need now for the block is a new oil pump, waterpump, Timing Chain (which i have) and for the Head TRD stage 1 cam shaft Dual Valve springs and Titanium Retainters. All that other **** is like 450.

But yeah i think i will buy the struts first and have fun with those, while i save up for the celica.

so you're going to pay an extra what, $60 just so you can have struts that say SPT on them as opposed to having the exact same thing for $60 less? you do realize that no one's going to be able to see the struts once they're on your car right? why does it matter what sticker is on there? hell, that $60 can pay for that Vortex thing you've been so eager to try out.

Your right in every way. But that is what i want. And no one would really care if i said i had "SPT" But i'll feel satisfied. Im pretty stubborn though and once i got my mind set on somthing or an ideal....
