50's feels pretty normal if you've lived in the NW for a long time. During the day it's been really hot here. mid-low 90's. It's comparable to about 100 or so for you Cali guys. We don't get this kind of heat all that often.

AIDS AIDS AIDS!
AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS!
Everyone has AIDS!
And so this is the end of our story
And everyone is dead from AIDS
It took from me my best friend
My only true pal
My only bright star (he died of AIDS)
Well I'm gonna march on Washington
Lead the fight and charge the brigades
There's a hero inside of all of us
I'll make them see everyone has AIDS
My father (AIDS!)
My sister (AIDS!)
My uncle and my cousin and her best friend (AIDS AIDS AIDS!)
The gays and the straights
And the white and the spades
Everyone has AIDS!
My grandma and my dog 'ol blue (AIDS AIDS AIDS)
The pope has got it and so do you (AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS)
C'mon everybody we got quilting to do (AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS)
We gotta break down these baricades, everyone has
AIDS! x 20

the area i live in doesn't get real cold. 30's is about the worst it will get and that's not common. i live near the water so it gets cool but we rarely get snow and we don't get much rain cuz the mountain range shelters us and breaks up the high and low pressure currents.
BTW I'll take -30 degrees before I take AIDS

I wish we got snow that stayed on the ground longer than a couple hours so I could go play in it but Mt. Baker isn't too far away. I just can't do it with my wife in the car or she'll freak out.

suprisingly it rarely rains here. We get some rain in the winter but even that isn't nearly as bad as the rest of the state. A little over an hour south to Seattle and you drive into a wall of water during the fall.
