Got the fuel pump swapped last night and drove the Subaru to work.

How long had it been down for?

 

About a week before Hawai'i. So, it had been sitting for about 3 weeks. The tank was full of 91, so it didn't really matter.

I was a little concerned, though, that the coolant overflow tank was bone dry. Checked the upper reservoir and it was full. Fired it up, drove it for about 2-3 miles. Came back, overflow tank was back up to the upper mark. Thermal expansion?

 

That's usually how it goes. When it cools down, the overflow tank will get sucked back into the system.
