bah... the real ip address doesn't work...

only the private one shows the website...

it is working on the computer next to me, so I guess it only work on this network?? that will be since when I go to show the presentation it will be on this network

You also need to make sure the presentation PC and server are on the same subnet, otherwise, they won't be able to see each other.

they most likely are if they are on a campus, unless they have differnt subnets for the library computers and the computer lab computers, etc.

should be ok though

That's what I'm thinking...just write down the IP settings of the server and change the subnet on the presentation PC if needed.
