South Carolina eventually went strongly McCain, but how the F do those numbers work?

I've pretty much resigned to ignoring MSNBC for the night (though their online graph is technically pretty cool).

 

yeah, how does that work? vermont went to obama with 0% precincts reporting earlier today.

 

Maybe they're trying to be the "balanced" part of Fox News?



And this is making me think McCain get's Gored this election.

 

electoral college system does not make sense to me.
i understand how they work but the process doesnt make sense to me.

the popular vote (1% difference between the two) doesn't back up the landslide that the media is reporting though.
