So my wife is adamant about buying a new wrx.
My 03 is paid off and has less than 40k miles so I should be able to get a decent price for it.
Should I trade it in or sell to a private party? Also anyone know if the aftermarket parts on my 03 will fit the V9?

go with the evo. unless you want to invest money into the wrx to keep up with evos. srt4 is crap and a gsr will get stolen in 3 days.

 

i think by GSR he means a GSR EVO vs. a RS EVO...

 

you should always sell to a private party, you'll probably get 2-3k more. I think it is worth the hassle.

and most aftermarket parts on the 03 will fit the 06, except for any of the front or rear body parts.
