I ordered some R-comps but they will not be here on time so I will still have to drive on Sumitomos... Bummer.

BTW, Thunderhill people keep insisting on safety but some of their rental helmets are M rated (for motocycles) instead of SA rated (for cars). M rated helmets are designed to widthstand multiple smaller hits while an SA helmet is designed to widthstand one huge hit. M helmets are not safe for any sort of HPDE events.

When do you think I should show up? I have the whole day open. Im going to need a helmet right? Its only $25 to rent one at the track which isn't a problem.

m would be best. Should be running about 4 sessions + an open track at the end of the day.You should bring some cash just incase someone doesn't make it and then maybe you can drive your car. You don't have to be all mod'd out to go on track. It would still be fun in a stock STi or WRX.
