Good luck, have fun, and be safe. You can study the video and see if my line works for you when you’re on track. You can tell that I was trying to take my own line and not play follow-the-leader with the BMW. But it's hard when you are following cuz you are trying to make sure nothing happens to the car in front (spin, run into them, or whatever), trying to stay on your own line...but you naturally follow the other car. SO you have to force yourself to drive your own line and focus. Much fun!!!

Nice, your car is a beast! That bimmer looked a little squirrelly on a few of those turns. Your line looked much better.

 

Thanks guys for the props. I'll try and post up some other vid from the morning session where my car was a bit loose. You can totally tell in the video. I think it had to do with tire psi.

 

later that day the guy in the bimmer came over and said he had fun following me and then me following him...said it was the highlight of the day for him That made me feel warm and fuzzy!

i have a lot of respect for guys who drive all day long on the track. it takes a lot of skill, paitents, endurance, etc. I got tired from three laps where the bimmer was behind me. So I let him pass and then I was like wait...now it my turn to try and keep up. It was a blast!

Here is one from the morning session...not of me getting loose, but just a crazy mad Vette going past me really fast!

 

What happened to the Vette? Looked like something broke, or he gave in to you catching him...hehe. Anyway, awsome vids, they now reside on my HDD.
