i want to pick up a univeral remote. i don't have a complicated home theater system, but i want the flexibility to control something more in the future. it needs to be able to control:
tv
xbox 360 used as a dvd player
tivo box
possible home theater receiver

so far the candidates are:
logitech harmony for xbox 360

the logitech is listed becasue it looks like a no-brainer for teh xbox (duh), and the philips is listed because my tv and my tivo are both made by philips.

any one better than the other? other suggestions? i'd like to stay around $100.

 

I gots a harmony 880

it rocks but I am working with Logitech right now to get it replaced. the base develop burns on the contacts and they will stop charging after a period of time.

I believe they have fixed the issue, I will know when I get my new one
