I thought it was your average fart. I let it go, and out came a flow of doodoo Thankfully I was at home, alone, and over the tile floor in the kitchen.

Never forget

yup. Ours is a 2hp plus we have the chlorine generator. ugh. Chlorine generator runs 100 minutes on one side then reverses the polarity for the next 100 minutes. If you run less than 200 minutes you get uneven wear and shorter life. I run everything for 400 minutes. (6hrs-40 mins). I think next winter I'll cut back to 200 minutes.

I don't get it...

AC motors consume more electricity @ start up, right?
So, once it's running, it concumes little electricity?

yes. motors (attached to pumps or fans or whatever) consume much more during startup. They still continue to consume while running steady state. Motors are rated in electric horsepower output. 2hp at XX efficiency equals YY continuous amp draw.

The pump is still pushing water through the system. I need a 2hp pump because my pool has an in floor cleaning system. Water is pumped through pop up heads scattered throughout the pool floor. Without this the pump would have been sized smaller. I'm not sure if what I have is enough to pump to the roof for a solar heater. I'll have to look into that.

what was your question?

I wouldn't do it, there was a white STi sitting outside Paul's shop the last time I was there with wheels that looked better than those...

Those *are* the STi wheels

That picture makes them look too shiny, they're like the hyper blacks I bought for the STi in the first place. Plus, 18x8.5, 245/40/18's........we shall see
