You know, if I were in the market for a car, I might not get the STi... the regular WRX is so nice now...

Oh and in person, I really like the new body style.
I was just thinking the same thing now. I was always whining for leather in the WRX and now here it is, available, stock with 17" rims, bigger brakes and the bigger block. Might just be the way to go.

just a lightly modded 02 gixxer 600. i cannot see a need for heated grips, especially when you have gloves on.

*cries* Well a couple days ago I got a package from DHL, my Ksport coilovers finally arrived. Tried to install them this morning-afternoon. got one of the rears on, went over to the other, and couldn't get the freakin nut off the bolt on the stock left coilover to take it off. *sigh* what a wasted day off! The coilovers do look purty, but they would look better on my freakin car!

Either I'm going too fast or you have better wind protection or I wear thinner gloves. Dunno. My last bike had heated grips too and it made riding in ambient temps below 40 more tolerable.

I just seriously got the biggest burrito ever from Chipotle! This thing must almost weigh 2 pounds...here's the trick, stop in 10 minutes before closing and they stuff the goods into the burritos. Another trick is to order double meat.

In addition to the biggest burrito ever, I got two free bags of chips. They said if they didn't give them away they'd just throw them in the dumpster for the homeless people.

Before getting tuned the:
The DP made a noticable difference in top end.. I felt like I lost some torque down low. However it felt like it kept pulling to redline rather than loosing power from 5-6grand.

After getting tuned:
I believe I put down something like ~240whp/249ft-lbs. I was honestly expecting closer to 270 whp and closer to 300 torque. :\ My baseline was 217whp/200ft-lbs. My low end torque is back! Again, the car feels a bit faster in all areas.

When I went to pickup the car Joe mentioned that my car was a torque monster compared to other STI's they've tuned. Looking at the graphs and feeling it for myself I didn't believe him. Judging by other STI's who've been tuned with a full TBE, on this dyno they're at 270ish whp. Nate mentioned that if I added a cat-back i'd gain something like ~5-10whp up top. That puts me at roughly 250whp on their dyno, so I dunno wtf the rest of the power is... heh

I'll take a photo of the graphs later this week when I have time to do more of a review.

Edit, sorry for bringing this thread back to life
