The source is quite credible though, my wife and I found our last mastiff puppy from the same site. He's a buck twenty five at less than a year.

It's a mastiff, I've seen a couple that were around 200 lbs.

The Romans bred them to pin thieves until the farmer could come and decapitate them with thier shovel.

The pic happens to be from a rescue site. Which states: "mastiffs don't usually get this big"

bullmastifs can easily reach 200 I believe, so that weight does not surprise me.

A bullmastiff is smaller than a mastiff because it's a crossbreed. We also have a sharpei-mastiff puppy that's 95 lbs at 9 mos. He's the biggest in the litter though.

Too bad he's afraid of the vacuum.

Look at the shadow on the carand the screwed up windows...

I dunno if you'd see that attention to detail on an animal rescue site.

I still don't buy it. Way too disproportionate.

I'll reserve my opinion...

No

and no. My brother has a ridgeback-sharpei who tries to kill the vacuum.

Our mastif-sharpei is also afraid of stairs for some reason...

But he will still rip your throat upon entry.
