Sounds like one of those "you get what you pay for" moments to me...

You should have gone to Subaru Specialists MotorSports. If you need it, their number is: (916) 442-6409

I bet they can fix it for you...

I'm hoping for 240+whp but we'll see what Nate can get out of the car. It will be nice to have some power back in my car - I've been hating life since I sold my Cobb ECU on Sunday :|
very similar to my setup. im gonna have Nate retune my car at the begininng of summer. the guy that had the car before me had Shiv do a conservative tune so it was only puttin dow 249whp on shivs dyno. so im hopin Nate can squeeze a few more ponies out of it for me.

249 on Shivs dyno != 249 on S-S Dyno. The S-S dyno reads lower than most of the other tuners. I don't know by how much, but it's definitely a difference. So, for example, if Nate gets you to 249 on his dyno, you're making more than you were before, even though the numbers are the same.

I was under the impression that Shiv's dyno was about equal with Mustang dynos which I think SS uses..

Sadly, I'm still on the fence with what tuner to use

Spend sometime reading some of the baic threads.

Do some searches using keywords: Gruppe-S, SHIV, VISHNU etc.

Oh and shoot ECUTEK an email asking for their advice.

Trust me, I have been... Plus I know how to search

ATM, I'm a bit biased towards Shiv because of my buddies success with his Stage 1+ Evo. Also from what I can gather, Egan has had some pretty good success with em. I just haven't had any personal friends who've been tuned by either Gruppe-S or Nate.. If Nate's a good local tuner, I'll prolly look more into it when I'm serious I'm not that worried about it right now...

Peace

nate told me that the S-S dyno reads about 20whp below shivs. so if Nate can get me 250whp on his dyno ide be happy.
