In the real-time footage between the 36 sec mark and the 40 sec mark, the gun appears to be "getting away from her". As she enters the frame, she shoots one-handed and hits the windsheild, as evidenced by the spidercracks in the upper-left of the frame. The second shot looks like it was from the recoil, since she finally decided that she needed two hands to get the gun under control.

Without a second point-of-view, we may never know for sure. :shrugs:

This happened to me. New ram turned into a $750 new rig... But I'm happy with the investment.
