I have already fine tuned my customer service approach:

the funny thing is, if they'd start taking donations of umbilical cords for the blood, that's all the stem cell sources they'd need.
and those crazy people that pay bank to those companies that save/freeze/store the umbilical cord are throwing their money away cus 99% of the time the blood inside them can not be used to treat the infant because of something to do with the way their body chemistry changes after birth. their bodies will reject any type of derivative of that blood.
it normally can only be used to treat a sibling or close relative but those are rare cases.

(sorry for the sidebar...been reading a bunch of parenting/birth stuff w/ the wife lately.)
