I found these wheels up for sale and was thinking of picking them up for my car (black 335i) but wanted some feedback (cuz feedback on the bmw forum=opinions that either dont make sense or I could really give a **** about). I know they're japanese wheels and its a european car, but wheels from HRE, DPE etc. just arent as strong and as light as japanese wheels, and I like the way these look, but still not 100% sure yet.

if you've got the $$$$ jump on them!
staggered wheel sets are hard to find in a clean setup and the SSR's are nice!

screw that "it's euro and the wheels are japanese" crap cus most japanese companies make wheels better than those from the US or europia.

SSR's are good quality, light and look great...i wouldn't hesitate (except for the $4k pricetag...OMGOUCH!!!1!)
for that price, you may be able to custom order SSR's in any configuration you'd like.

I think those are awesome wheels for the car. They may be Japanese wheels, but the style of them is universal and work on a lot of cars.

Those are Work Meister S1 two piece forged rims. Thanks for the feedback though, but ya if they were SSR's I would just order some new ones.

Thanks, I have seen them look good on a lot of different cars, and I trying to find out if the offset will work and what size tire is gonna fit nice.

doh! yeah, i wrote SSR but i knew they were Works...

if you're interested in getting a custom fit set of Works, PM me.
i know a shop in SF that has a great relationship w/ Work japan and they're super helpful.
they're also reasonable too, they go over and above for their customers.

just let me know.
