We used to have servers named after Gilligans Island characters. We had marianne and skipper, for example. They stopped doing that though because people got dirty in the ticket reports. The two servers were clustered so if one went down it would be like "Marianne went down on the skipper", etc.

Today is pissing me off. They finally got my check sorted so at least I'll get some money. But today seeing my pay stub on the HR site shows they're only paying me for 64 hours, not 80 (which is odd because they say the pay period for me started 8/8, a Wednesday, but I came back to work 8/6). Then payroll is saying I owe CA SDI $775, which seems odd since I have received $0 from SDI and I barely got that much from our short term disability company.
I think the worst part of this whole broken leg is now not the inability to walk or drive, but rather dealing with all this stupid red tape ****

I guess that's the good part of the naming convention, but the people here aren't smart enough to figure teh funnah out like that lol

i first tried to scare it off by stomping and yelling, but then thought that if i scared it too much i'd have skunk smell all over our back porch...so i let the rat bastard eat his heart out while i laid there in bed wide awake.
time to get a sealed plastic container for the cat food.
