so, Seagate vs Hitatchi for internal laptop hard drives...which is better and why? MGIA
Hitatchi $169
100GB
7200RPM
3 year warranty
Seagate $156
120GB
5400RPM
5 year warranty
so dispite the obvious difference in price/GB, what would a slower RPM mean in terms of working? programs slower to start up? Also, which is the better overall company?

slower rpm will last longer, the real question is the seek times. ive had good luck with Seagate and the only hitachi drive i ever had was brokoen right outa the box... soo...

My logic does no such things... It all makes perfect sense in my complex mind. I can understand how you small minded people wouldn't be able to comprehend this logic
