can Oakland do anything right? The Oakland Fire Department took applications today and said they'd take 1000 apps, 2000 people showed up, so they picked people at random to submit their applications. The news interviewed one lady who was a bigger lady, looked to be in her late 40s, and flat out said she had NO experience 
of course the news showed a clip of all the people yelling when the person said they were done taking apps, and the loudest guy, in the front of the crowd, was of course standing there with a beer in one hand
