I bought my unmodified, adult driven, garaged, pristine '05 STi with 10K miles for $26K. If you look around for a bit you will find a better car with a clean Carfax that's "drama free".

Here's a couple links to 2 cars I found. The first one is black with 36K on it for $27K. The second one is blue with 44K on it for $23.5! The blue one also looks like it has an extended warranty. I hope this helps!
