1) track cars use race rubber that has little in common with what 98% of these "stance" kids ride on.
2) track cars don't hit potholes/huge bumps/center dividers/etc on the road on the norm.
3) track cars are not safe at all, despite being equipped with tons of safety equipment. their focus is on fast.
4) don't even get me started on drifting LOLOL. I'll just summarize: its like figure skating.
Hard parking is cool if you're into that sort of thing, but don't you dare compare it to ANYTHING synonymous with "competitive motorsport" or "performance oriented" and expect people not to laugh at you.

Lol relax buddy I'm just making a small point. Not saying our stanced cars would kill it on a track. Just saying that if people in a competitive Motorsport can do it and rarely have accidents, then why can't we. And FYI, tracks don't always have perfect Tarmac. And idk if you drift or not or have ever even tried but it's pretty damn hard and its sad that you think it's like figure skating. I'd like to see you go into a turn at 100+ mph sliding and haveing full control of the car. Or going into a turn while sliding with another car literally tapping you or cm's away. Just saying. Don't hate on a sport if you havnt even tried it.

I'm not mad at all. Didn't mean to come off that way anyway
I've been driving a 307whp 2200lb rwd roadster for the past 2 years, I know a thing or two about car control
It is very much like figure skating because you get judged on how you look doing something. Never said it doesn't require skill. And drifting has nothing to do with stance so that's really off topic.
I'm not hating on your guys' style, I'm just saying don't associate it with performance oriented claims. I guess I'm like Sybir, too old school to get the whole "stetti" thing.

Meaty tires ftw (Until they get worn out then time for some new kicks). Anyways back to this "stay steffi" thingy, just peoples style these days I dont mind it just makes people unique and stand out. Plus we are all Subie owners (I think) and we all know Subie owners show love to other Subies =]. Just another reason why we're all soo respectful towards each other.

From what I know about drifting, they run stretched rear tires because it stiffens the side wall to where there is no flex making it easier to break loose and more predictable when breaking loose, the slip and re-grip is smoother. something along those lines is what a few drifters have told me. That sounds like on a car that you want to have good grip not such a good thing. but as a stance/style standpoint It is the super dope Frush thing to do. I like it on some cars and on others i think they went out way to far trying to make their point.
