SRIC relavent IT job thread.

I didn't want this to get lost in the funderful daily... and I figured enough people ask often enough... and I figured I'd actually be helpful for once... so...

UCDMC is hiring for help center people if anyone is looking.

http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/hr/jobs/jobs_online.html

They call the positions "computer programmer" but usually there is zero actual programming. Read the descriptions. Even if there is stuff you don't think you are qualified or know, 9 times out of 10, they aren't even really looking for that stuff, they are just using an old job req.

UCDMC is a great place to work as far as IT jobs goes. Everyone is pretty chill.

Oh, forgot to mention, they are reconfiguring and expanding the help center, so it should be pretty cool.

Meh, it's okay. Beni's are decent, though. And you get all the weird holidays off. Somewhere on the UCDMC or UCD HR sites are job titles and pay scales. I, as you know, am too lazy to go look.

One word - pension.

okay, you bastards made me work. It's kinda confusing, but say you are applying for a Programmer III, they typically like to bring you in at, or just below the midpoint, so you are looking at around 59k. If your experience warrants it, they can bring you in up to 74.4k
