Sound after exhaust install

A few weeks ago, I installed an Invidia q300 on my 2010 hatch. Just today i noticed that when i go WOT, starting around 4k, i hear a whistle sound which i'm assuming is the turbo. Not really worried about it, as i'm assuming that with the new exhaust, and less restriction in the exhaust i'm going to hear the turbo more...is that true? and is there anything i should worry about?

Also, the exhaust vibrates against the bottom of my car, right around where the center console is. I adjusted the exhaust a little bit and it's not as bad as it was, but any suggestions on reducing the vibration completely? Would some type of exhaust wrap work? I guess what i need is something to put in between the exhaust and the metal chasis that isn't going to melt, but will prevent the metal on metal vibration.

Thanks for reading and any help provided!

The whistle could be a gasket not sealing properly, I'd really have to ride along and listen to be sure, or hear a good sound recording.

The rattling can be fixed by welding in longer exhaust hangars, or if you want to ghetto-rig it I suppose you could wrap the place where it rubs with some heat wrap/insulation.

something like this would work to dampen or eliminate the vibration wouldn't it?

I haven't seen your car around, I guess I need to look more carefully.

Check your gasket seals, did you do this work or someone else?

I live out in rocklin, and work in Granite Bay. i, with the help of my buddy, did the install ourselves. I'll have to get under the car again and take a look this weekend and check the gaskets between the downpipe and the cbe. although the whistle sound sounds like it's coming from the engine bay, so i guess i'll check the gaskets there too.

i haven't touched the intercooler or bpv, so it shouldn't be any of those, but maybe when installing the exhaust and then adjusting it, it may have broke a gasket or something further up the piping closer to the engine.

I ended up going to tognottis yesterday and bought some of that thermo tec exhaust wrap/insulation, cut it down to size, and wrapped it around the resonator that was rubbing against the bottom of the car, and that seemed to work.

I thought about the extended exhaust hangers, but i'll give this thermo tec insulation a shot. Hopefully it holds up, if not, i'll probably go the exhaust hanger route.
