I have SCOURED the interwebnets for a decent impreza within the area and i cannot find a whole lot. nothing that makes me want to buy. i had one that wanted to buy but it suffers from transmission problems.

It must:

-Be a GC/M; GF MAYBE if you can convince me
-Be a 5-speed
-Not be a peice of ****


I'm hoping maybe there is someone reading this that was maybe thinking of selling their car but was reluctant to for whatever reason. If this is you...speak up!

Also, if you know any sites to search for cars besides autotrader, craigslist and cars.com feel free to post em up.

Ok last thing, i will also consider a Legacy GT (or L) sedan. Legacy wagon is just too much rear end (i await the jokes).

 

There is a metric ***-load of Subys cruising around the Davis area. Have you thought about catching a ride with someone on the weekend and prowling the streets? You just might come across a car sitting with a "For Sale" sign taped in the window.

besides craislist and autotrader and cars.com? Not much. eBay is worth watching, but there's not a lot there. Make sure to check bay area, sac, and Reno/Tahoe on CL.

THAT CAR IS A PIECE OF ****.
A MAJOR PILE OF ****, THAT THE OWNER BRAGS ABOUT HOW HE SPENT TIME ON EBAY BUILDING THE CAR. THE RIMS ARE RATTLE CANNED (OVERSPRAY ON THE TIRES). All kinds of GHETTTTTTTTTO FAB went into that car. colors of the car dont match up right. door->fender->bumper. the brakes are crap. the owner beat the **** outta it without a tune. the engine bay looked like a 2yr old put it together with a 'connect the dots' mentality. yea....
