tell me what they see, other than an engine. :P

My AC stopped working and while I was changing the oil I was taking a look to see if I could figure out what it was. Since the AC clutch was not turning on I started from the source, fuses were OK, relay is good, freon in the lines. Then I noticed that there is a cut wire on the clip going to the AC clutch. The clutch is on the front of the engine. Here are a couple of pics:

Can you guys tell me if that cut wire just loops back in. I want to make sure that the rat that chewed it didn't take off with a missing piece before I solder it back.

Someone on the BA-WRX forum verified it for me. Got nice cold air now.
