I had them on my last suby, on my 17" 5-zigens...I can't remember the size, I have the g-sports now, and I love them!

Proxes are ok. Inotice alot of understeer in semi agressive driving, but yeah they are quite.

I just figure that with 18s the road noise is going to suck as it is...so I might as well try to quiet it down a little....
Driving down the 80 is already a noisy enough affair on stock wheels, lol

I still want to be able to try my hand at a little autoX maybe? or would I want a different wheel and tire for that? I am not talking a seasons worth or anything, just a very seldom occasional jaunt.... and I still like to drive rather aggressive on the backroads...so I still need some sticking power, but when I drive around down here in the city, I don't want to hear EVERY groove in the road....maybe every other :-P

Having 18s doesn't change road noise. It's purely a function of tread design and compound.
